Steelhead

Any one who knows me knows how passionate I am about steelhead. I have pursued them for many years in LC tribs and I am finally starting to see the results we have been waiting for. So while most of you were fishing the shootout I was on one of my favorite streams doing my thing. This fish was 26 1/2ins. and although I did not weigh it my guess would be easily 7 plus lbs. Its my 6th steelhead this year over 5lbs from a trib with I hope many more to come

umm... entering that in the shootout would have been bad??! THAT would have taken home the trophy as long it was a Champlain trib!

I recognize that rod and reel. I saw it in action one day last year and I must say you're a very talented guy. Awesome technique you have with that rod, can't say I've ever seen anything like it. Glad to see its paying off!!!
