Congrats, Tire Jockey ... I'm jealous! I love fishing up that way. We always ice fish most of the lakes in the area a couple of times a year and really like getting the boat out on some of them as well. Hope to be up that way for the 4th of July weekend. Are you on Island Pond, or is it a hunting camp? Either way, that's a great area to be.

So my camp is in Morgan. You that direction or out one of the other three main roads?

Ip does have some very nice fish in it. Two out of my last three trips have produced a fish over 20" one being a brown and the other a rainbow

I was looking at a camp on rt111 about 3 miles east of Seymour but it needed too much work. My place is just outside of Island Pond off rt114 half a mile down take a right headed towards Newark pond, just got an email from my realtor this morning the seller accepted my offer! Fish on!

Welcome to the Kingdom. Lots of deep water lakes ( 100 feet +) to fish - there are six within 30 minutes of IP. Not the same level of Salmon fishing as Champlain , but there are some good ones taken and Lakers are plentiful. My camp is in Morgan on Rt 114 , three miles North of IP. Best of Luck ! Jack
