Places To Stay for LCI Derby

Good Afternoon,

I am looking for a place to stay for the LCI derby, someplace close to the lake or right on the water. This will be our 1st time fishing the derby and we hope to make it an annual event. Any information would be greatly appreciated. We don't know too much about the lake, so if anyone is willing to pass along some minor details or quirks about the lake that we should def know. That would be great.

Burton Island has camping and lean too's if that's an option. Storms come up fast and the waves can get big fast due to the shape of the lake. Keep your eyes open.
