As of O-Dark-30, the dock has been pulled to the north of the ramp, and is accessible for shallow draft boats once launched...Broken end is on shore, but don't bring your wheel-chair...

IMNSHO

Any solid boat with welded seams should be able to crunch a way out to the ice edge now...

Ice ends more than 100 yards inside of Picket Isdland...

Thanks again Frank...

He indeed lit a fire under the 'Doctor'...

Have not been through the access today, but I am betting the door is open...

This wind must have crunched what ice was left...

Good to see you back in the game Paul!!!
We missed your enthusiasm coming out of that yellow rig of yours.
'certainly looking forward to seeing you back out on the water this spring.
Thanks for the info on the dock...
I saw bids have gone out to dredge the back of the landing. 'dinged my prop up on a rock there last summer.
Could go without having to deal with that again!
'looking forward to seeing everyone again this season. Tim

As of mid afternoon today, the wind had pushed a lot of chunk ice into the bay still blocking the ramp. I doubt it will last very long with the warm temps and brisk winds. Shelburne bay looked pretty much clear of ice today as well. Yesterdays ice is now today's whitecaps thanks to the winds.

As of dark last night, the docks are out and on shore...

The ramp indeed was clogged with slushy ice, but that may be gone now...

Will take my ride through after 6pm tonight...

It will be nice to see you out there Paul. I have been checkin the obituaries to try to find you, lol. :D Anyway, even being from the other side of the pond, you have always made my fishing more enjoyable, even without stepping foot on my boat. And for that, thank you! I am thinking about Friday 4/25, maybe launching from Westport. Looks like the best surface conditions this week. Lots of debris out there I am told, which is to be expected this time of year. Watch your lower lower unit, and your lower unit! lol ;)
Lord, if you can't help me, PLEASE don't help that bear!
