Got recent word that the blow has helped the bite... Got pics of browns up to 13lbs.... by the dozens from yesterday... Things are heating up!

Can't wait for 11am on the 30th... let the trollin begin...

You'll definitely have some "chop" with that north wind! At least the north wind will keep the warm water near shore and hopefully keep the fish concentrated. Good luck guys!

I started this thread, but it doesn't look I'm going to make it out for browns this year. I will be in Mexico the 1st week of September, though, for some king fishing. I haven't fished kings in probably 25yrs or more, so I'm really looking forward to it.

Don't forget to stock up on a supply of Genesee Cream Ale, a staple of western NY. :lol: ain't no fancy craft brew or good Candia stuff either... best thing is you buy a thirty pack you get six free :D

Matt if you get blown off don't be afraid to fish Oswego harbor it has produced some nice Browns for me when the main lake was unfishable. Good luck guys

That is a great plan b we ended up doing that last year and I got my 1st ever coho.....
