Popster:

Congratulations! That is a beautiful specimen. It's beautiful no matter where it was caught! I am really happy for you. Champlain and its forage base are certainly headed in the right direction! Thank you for sharing. /Jim

Thanks all, for the replies. Indeed a fish of a lifetime, but it does show they're there.

So.....the fish came on a taped Chartreuse/Nickel Speedy Shiner behind a Clear Slide Diver
Lite Bite with the 7 oz weight & a small ring. Setting on the Diver of 4. Line back from
Diver to spoon 45'; Line out from Reel 120'. Thinking the spoon was running about 50'.
(Not the large Ring that comes with the "Ultimate Kit").
Temp profile on the TD showed mid-50 degrees at around 65'
Depth of water 115-160'
Tight Lines

BTW Beware of leaping Browns.... this one cleared the water, with ease 4 times. The last
2 jumps near the boat brought the Slide Diver out of the water!
