I got a tagged steelhead at the salmon hole a few weeks back. Turns out that it was tagged just a month earlier at the Weed Hatchery in Grand Isle. It's very interesting how much they move around.
It was a nice day out there. The fishing ran hot and cold for us throughout the day. When it was hot , it was on fire!

We managed a nice 20 incher carrying a BIG lamprey along with other silvers and 1 laker.

hey tucker looks like the fishin is still awesome up on the big lake . no ice up here in maine yet .may have to come back to champlain to get my fishing fix
