Spent the first three hours searching. Found two bronzebacks and one pike. In the nex three hours we were six for six on silvers, all cookies. 8 of the 9 came off from pin minnows. We ended up finding some relatively clear water that was around 47 degrees on the main lake. Fish were in 6 to 16' of water and a long ways from any deep water.
Glad to have had some success on silver. I had a tough time finding them anywhere north of converse last year

Hi Mike
Nice report. Not always easy to find silvers these days. Glad you got out and had some action.

Re: Found some
Did forget to mention that we killed two lamprey and lost another just behind the boat. They were the 4" variatey so they must have just been out of the river. I'm not use to seeing them until a little later in the year.
