State ramp dock status

Post by vtfishin »

I asked about Apple Tree, Converse and Crown point:

Matt

Thanks for the inquiry. The short answer is that we created a number of new ADA accessible docks over the past few years and in order to maximize their usage throughout the year, we needed to put the concrete anchors at about 100 or 99.5 ft. This means we need to have the water level drop about another 6 inches before we can install them. I suspect this might be another week or so.

Mallett’s Bay docks are in year round, so if there is open water you can always use those docks any time of the year. That said, those are also located at about the 99 ft mark, so the land side end may be under a few inches of water this time of year. Also, we hope to put in the new Lamoille River docks in prior to the opening of walleye season this Saturday.

If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me directly.
