Re: No laker report ???
We've been catching them for well over a week now on the few good weather days that bless us. I'm hearing from guys who normally catch lakers on stick baits suspended near Colchester and they claim they are not doing well. I boated 8 trout up to nine pounds yesterday. There are pictures of many of our best fish since ice out on our Facebook page, Lake Champlain Angler Fishing Charters. There are photos of browns, salmon, lakers, smallmouth and the odd northern pike bi-catch all posted there. We fish the lakers deep on flats and ledges in 65' and deeper. Trolls, spoons and stick baits are working for us. Slow is pro. 1.8 - 2.2 mph. Good luck!
