Pictures taken this afternoon one from River road Colchester just up river from the Windermere Way Fishing Access near the mouth of the Winooski River. The other at the ramp At Windermere Way Access.. It is good to see some open water... There was even a guy at the access casting a line out into the river!!!! I think he was trying to catch some of the ices chunks floating by!!!! LOL
It is just good to see soft water again!!!

The river is currently VERY blown out. I'm sure all the ice will be gone in no time.

This is GREAT news..... Now if I can just get the snow in front of the barn to melt, I may be able to get to Reelax before May..

These are good news. Ice is melting away fairly quickly now. Up North, still plenty of snow banks everywhere.

Rain, warm temps and wind. Sounds like a perfect recipe for a speedy recovery from a very long winter being icebound.
