Whalons 9/28 (PICTURE ADDED!!!)

Post by drachma »

Was finally able to get out after being with Digitrol last week and more than 1 1/2 mo before that. When to Whalon's Bay with a friend and started heading north mid afternoon. In front of the farm got a salmon. 65 down on the rigger in 103 FOW going 3.2mph at the lure, a Crazy Ivan Green Sheen. No Flashers Little fast due to not being able to use the kicker.

Anyway, 23 inches and 6.2 pounds on the digital scale. Will try to get a picture out in the next day when I figure out how to do it.

Thought I saw hejac out there too!

Thanks Matt,

Trying to figure out how to get picture from my Droid Verizon to my computer. Hard when you're 61 and computer literacy challenged. :|

By the way, when I filleted her she was full of eggs.

Last night fresh fish on the grill with light Cajun seasoning for dinner, yum.

Heck of a fish Michael! Thanks for the call yesterday and the text photo this morning on my antique Nextel cell phone and $30 plan.

I was hoping to get out this morning with Sue and luck would have it the natural gas hot water heater was having issues at 5 am. Vt Gas was here at 11:00 and had it up and running in 20 minutes. It was a Costco day. Next week!

Great job! It's been a long time since we have seen anything over 6 lbs on the squawk box.

I have the Droid. Go into the android MARKETPLACE. click the magnifying glass at the "search function". Type PHOTOBUCKET. Download the free application. Photobucket allows you to store pics on the internet. From there you can link to the forums. Once the have a photobucket acct you'll need to upload pics. Go into your gallery on your phone and open desired pic, select MENU off the screen, if it disappears touch the screen too get it back. The menu options will show up across the bottom, select SHARE. Options pop up MESSAGING "for texting" & PHOTOSHOP. Select Photoshop to save your pic out on the internet. Exit back to your apps, you know have a blue Photoshop app button. Touch MY ALBUMS to get to your pic on the internet. Open the pic, now push the options button on the edge of your screen "it looks like 4 lines". Now you have a options bar across the bottom of your pic, touch VIEW LINK. 4 choices pop up, you may need to drag the screen up to see the last choice. This is the one you want, titled. IMG. Press it, it works like cut and past, you now have the link saved in the phone memory. Exit out. Go to the forum and start a thread. In the thread touch and hold the screen, a menu pops up, drag it up till you set paste. Touch PASTE, you'll see a bunch of digits pasted to your text box, this will shortly become your photo.

Hope this helps.

Raz.........could you make this a sticky. Takes far to long to type on a phone.
