Looks to Be A Great Improvement with the rails allowing the lengthening of the ramp.
Good things come slow.
Now November 17:
There are Five panels out below the water level
All of our past problems here look well taken care of and should be a great launch. Would be nice if we got a seasonal Dock on the down stream side too.
Thanks VT Forests and Parks and VT Fish and Game!

Glad the state is starting to spend some money on our accesses again!! Van Everest on Georgia Shore will be getting a new ramp next year similar to the one at the John Guillmette launch (Sandbar). The RFP was posted last week and our company plans on bidding on it as we have done a LOT of work for F&W over the past 25 years but budget constraints have drastically curtailed what they can do the last ten years or so. Too many bike paths and social programs.....
Did my annual maintenance on the Mercury Randy last week and in the shop for stuff I can't do Monday ie. Trailer Inspection / Impeller / Accessory Belt now my engine sits at 2,186 hours after 6 seasons on the 200 Mercury. No urgency to get back out on the water!
Looks great and a much needed upgrade! Hopefully trailers won't fall off the end of it any more. Scared the hell out of me when that happened a few years ago. Luckily it rolled back on top no problem, then I moved over and used the gravel next to the launch.
