3 hours 24 walleyes

Post by digitroll (ron) »

I guess if it was easy or consistent we would have charters on Lake Champlain offering walleye trips. Maybe someday with 300,000 being stocked this year! Slow growing to get there from 300,000 fry.

Vision Quest Charters Lake Erie yesterday: Zip ties on fish???? Maybe to ID them for the person whom caught them.

Well that surely makes a days work worth while
Very nice. Agreed on the time frame of the fry for sure, but where are all the yearlings and 2nd year class in champ.. In the belly of the black birds of death?

Ron - The image isn't coming through so I can only imagine what 24 walleye on the deck look like. Because my walleye experience has been with Controlled Chaos over the past 2 years I imagine a deck covered with 7-9+ pound fish in the dark in stormy seas, while I untangle a bat and a gar and hope I don't get bit by either!
