2025 Draw Your Partner and kids derby May 17th

The DYP planning team has set this year’s date
To Saturday May 17th with a blow day on the 18th if needed.

Signup in one of 3 ways so we can hold the drawing 2 weeks prior to 5/17 and announce teams..

1- With boat (will be matched randomly with a "no boat person"
2- No Boat (Will be matched randomly with a "with boat" person.
3- Family (one adult and offspring under 16 years old.)

Rules: Fish within confines of Like Champlain.
Starts at 1st light on 5/17, or blow date 5/18.
Biggest salmon/rainbow/brown trout by weight on a common scale wins.
4 rod Max - only 2 people on boat in derby can handle rods&fish... (incase a whole family is on boat;)
NO entry fee, MUST signup Prior to 5/2/25....
Weigh in starts at 1pm at Converse Launch. Winners need to be present at 1pm.

Please bring a BBQ or picnic item to share with the fleet after the awards!

Hello DYP crew,
I wanted to sign up for DYP this year but may not be up here that weekend and was wondering if any skilled silver chasers would be interested doing a pre DYP? Been following the posts stories, and great times being had with food and friends - I’ll be up next week Tuesday 4/29th thru Thursday 5/1, don’t mind fishing the cold, rain if under a little cover or the wind (within reason lol) I’m a good 1st mate can help loading unloading docking trailering. (Own a 24’ pontoon but not in the water yet fishing for 60 out of my 62yrs)

I signed up for without a boat as my boat is in the shop. Won't seem to stay running. I also have not been on the lake yet this year and if anyone has a seat open over the next few weekends, I would love to come along.
