Re: Where are the Lakers ?
I've been getting them in 60 - 100' of water over the last couple of weeks. I'm jigging and i'd say 75% were down deep and the rest came through suspended. The suspended ones almost always bite.

What Hawkeye 50 said. 50 - 80 fow down 25 -35 feet. All on downriggers and all on speedy's. Wonder bread takes most of them!

I caught several off colchester reef yesterday between 40-48’ in 80-120 FOW. Surface temps were 62-63 degrees. I was using downriggers with several different Crazy Ivan lures. They all had live lampreys which I relieved them of when I let them go. And 2 of them were wild lakers - not stockers.

We got half a dozen yesterday. Had an aggressive 25 inch fish hit me 15 feet down on my first drop at 6:30 or so. Then I didn't land another fish until 1 PM or so! My buddy ended up with 4 total.
