Any smelt fishing going on down south ? Haven’t looked at ice conditions if any south of Thompsons and split rock Tx

Thinking of next season.........where can I fish for smelt near Mallets Bay ?

Hop on I-89 south and head to Waterbury.

The reservoir is one of the most reliable smelt fisheries in the state.
