Frostbite Derby
Frostbite Derby
Any info on this years event? Looking forward to fishing it again always a great time
Re: Frostbite Derby
Just sent an E-mail to Todd at Point Bay and with his graces I'll send in a Derby application to Tammy at Vt Fish and wildlife.
Looking for Saturday November 5 with an alternate of Sunday the 6th.
Retrieved the Trophy from last years winner Tom Durbrow who predicts it will be his again this year!
It will be for sure a Great Barbecue and meet session kicking off the Real Frostbite season to come!
We will miss two of our members lost this Year. Fishy 1 Matt Glebus & Dragging Balls Kevin Collins two Great people and Fishermen.
Stay Tuned for details.

Re: Frostbite Derby
We're hoping to pull the Country Angler out of Hibernation soon. As usual, that boat has been sitting out the hot months. She's a cold weather vessel. The last High School Tournament looks to be on October 14. Have to get all of this fishing done and behind us so we can go fishing.
We've got the DYP trophies at our house currently, maybe the frostbite trophy would like to come hang out with them a few months as well before they move on? Lightning has been known to strike twice on rare occasions.
Looking forward to seeing you guys again, it's been too long.

Re: Frostbite Derby
Remember team, no parking at Pointbay because they need the yard to move boats around. Please come by water only for the weigh in and BBQ. There will be plenty of dock space for all to use.
Reelax loves it cause it the only time she ever gets the marina treatment each year:)
Fish on!!
Thanks again Randy.

Re: Frostbite Derby
Awesome! Thanks for the work you all do setting this up. Looking forward to meeting many of you that i feel i already know from bantering on the Forum and what not.
What would be a needed item to bring for the derby? Last year I donated some line(or was that for the DYP!) If you do a raffle, I can contribute few prizes, or i can bring any sort of "Cookout" necessities.i would like to contribute, albeit a small gesture, but I appreciate the heck out of this Forum.
Thanks Again.
Hope all is well with everyone.
