DYP Drawing results
DYP Drawing results
I posted this under the sign up string, but decided to repost it on a separate header so all could find it.
OK, it is official. The DYP drawing is complete. We had a light turn out this year, but there are (5) teams competing for the coveted DYP plaque. Here are the teams:
- Team #1; Dilly Worm (Meddie Perry) is fishing as a family team
- Team #2; AmFishFil Thinking (Kevin Camara) is also fishing as a family team.
- Team #3; Joe Gallese (Laszlo Panaflex) (802) 338-0287 and Matt Bilodeau (Reelax) (802) 233-8318
- Team #4; Paul Muckstadt (Voyager) (802) 488-0209 and Eric Johnson (TruViking) (802) 304-0357
- Team #5; Dean Dennis (Homewrecker) (802) 557-8055 and Jeff Cornish (Greenhorn) (603) 477-7864
Please take a minute and contact your team mate and make plans for next weekend and maybe a prefixing trip if time allows. I will heck on the weather and make a decision on Saturday or Sunday by this coming Wednesday. Best of luck to all of the fishermen! At least one of the 2021 DYP plaque holders will have to give up their trophy! Don't forget about the BBQ after the derby. Weight in is at 2:00pm sharp at the Converse Bay launch. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Re: DYP Drawing results
Oops, sorry guys, this fell through the cracks for us. Is it possible to add the Country Angler as a family team? It shouldn't mess with the drawing at all. I was literally just talking to my wife a minute ago.

Yes, I will add the Country Angler as a family team. Welcome to the DYP!
- Team #6; Country Angler (family team)
I don't know if there is a favorite team or not, but there are some formidable teams out there including the family teams. Looking forward to the friendly competition!

Matt (Reelax)- I have been training your partner. Look for this guy in the pic below. He is a workmate of mine. He has been out twice with me. One day slamming silver in Bullwagga and one day experience washing lures this Saturday as I was on the hunt where they moved to after Bullwagga hit 60 deg F. He will be a great partner. Hopefully, he learned the washing lures part really well for next weekend. hahahaha

Re: DYP Drawing results
SATURDAY...South winds 15 to 25 knots, becoming southwest and
diminishing to 10 to 15 knots. Partly sunny. A chance of showers and
thunderstorms in the afternoon. Waves 3 to 5 feet, subsiding to 1 to
3 feet.
I will play it by ear if we launch. 3 to 5 feet will be a No Go for the AmFishFil (American/Filipino) crew.
