Question above trolling for salmon????????

Hello first year trolling for salmon so far so good. Now that the water is warming how far down do most fish and how far back. Are the vertical blades worth the money will they help produce more fish? We have been very pleased with the fish but now getting a lot of stockys am I doing something wrong...

Great job Dwayne getting those boys on some real nice fish. I was out also with my son and a good friend boated one salmon 22.5" long and three shortys. Ran up north of launch to cheever dock and made one pass picked up one shorty. You fishing the lci this coming weekend?

The bit in the bay was ok last night but like tim said morning bit is way better. Hunter73 their is a launch at chimney pt under the bridge on the vt side. If you launched from there you would have a 2 minute ride over to the ny side to get in the bay but good fishing all the way across.

kyle1414 nice fish I enjoy fishing for fins myself they give a great fight. Nice lm also by any chance that spot your fishing wouldn't be in crown point would it looks like the trussel (sp) in putts creek.

well we fished the bay in port henry this am 530-930 and had a great time. Son landed 2 salmon and nephew got 1 myself I got a skipper 9" long. Best we got was 4.9 not a bad at all we went 4 for 6. Downriggers worked great but none of them came off from them got all the fish on dipsy divers. Ca...
