Re: Where is the reports?
It would seem that the issue has at least 5 major points: 1. Do we want seagulls? My vote - NO 2. Does the forum want the ability to screen members? My vote - YES 3. Do we want newbies to share in the data of reports? My vote - YES 4. Should we highlight the need for a newbie to become a member to s...

Re: ON THE LAKE TOMORROW
Hope someone sees this question after the fact. Pierre, you said that it was a 1.5" stick bait (assuming in the picture above). That means those are really small lures. Is this typical? I have purchased a bunch of Salmon lures (or at least I think they are) and they are pretty small, but this ...

Re: A QUICK TROLL ON WINNI
Thanks for the pics and the detail. It would appear that shallower water in Winni makes it easier to dial in on agressive feeding fish. Now if only we can convince LC anglers to do the same.

This is a great example of targeting fish that are actively feeding. Thanks for the look and the pics.

Thanks for the pics Pierre! It will give others ideas too. The treble hooks that you are using are RED. Is that the color that you prefer?

Re: Sure Strike report 09/02/11
Paul, Can I pick your brain and Rich if you talk to him. Capt. Paul from Champ charters once wrote in his monthly Outdoors Journal that big lakers like temps. in the low 40's it seemed this time of year. Have you or Rich ever tried 150 to 180 feet dragging bottom on flats this time of year? I know ...

UV
Until about two years ago, the impact of UV on lure finish was seldom talked about. Thanks to two very special people, 4c's ( Crazy Ivan Lures) and Salmoneye, our eyes at TAMIRON were finally opened. As it turns out, better than 95% of all HONEYBEES have some amount of Fluorescent pigmentation in th...

Re: ON THE LAKE TOMORROW
Hey everybody ... take pictures of your lures and always show them. It will help newcomers, manufacturers and jog the memories of seasoned fishermen. From my point of view, no pics means no help and no change !!! There are at least two manufacturers and and possibly more that will depend on you!

Re: Inland Sea 8-26-2011
Give the devil his due ... Capt. Tony and a lot of others are really above average fishermen. The one thing that almost all these have in common and all seem to agree to is that Salmon become more difficult if not impossible to catch for the next 4-6 weeks. Last year and in other years past, I have ...

Re: Welcome!
One of the main reasons that Honeybees are back is due to the cooperation and sharing that everbody has had on the other forum. Without that, as it has become now, there would be no TAMIRON. Strangers have become friends and customers have come from all over the Northeast. Please don't let a lack of...
