Wondering if someone out there could give me a little insight on salmon movement. I know they move north in the summer looking for cooler water so at what time do salmon return to the southern end of the lake? by southern I mean Port henry/ Westport area is it later in the fall or not till ice up? I...

Better than nothing at all did u fish north of Arnold bay? Wind blow here all day so we opt to stay home and get some firewood done instead of going out fishing.

I've fished salmon all spring and had very good luck and this summer. I want to go after lakers and wonder when u stack multi poles off from the same downrigger is it like planner boards? Reading all these post is making me want to go after some lakers. Gonna go out Saturday and give it a try never fish them before by the way of trolling just through the ice all new to me just like salmon fishing is this year.

Nice pics and sounds like it was a good time cant wait till I get to go out not this year but next for sure may have to take a charter for my first time out but oh well. Have the boat just don't know anything about king fishing. Best of luck on the next trip.

launched out of Westport at 6am this morning set up just before partridge harbor and started north. Marked loads of lakers down on bottom. Picked up a few yellow perch very nice ones to boot. Just north of snake den harbor we had a release 47 down 50back on a rainbow speedy shiner 23.5" silver ...

very nice fish u got there great day after all headed out in the morning with a few friends to see what we can get if nothing more it will be a good time.
