Re: Westport launch
I really wish VT gets to dredging accesses soon!
We have so many that are getting stupid shallow.

Dangerous Poker Race
A complaint was lodged with VTFW asking why they've done nothing about this. Why wasn't USCG, VSP, VTFW out there KNOWING this poker race was about to happen, yet did NOTHING about the speed boats running right between 3 boats fishing, which all were on spot lock jigging lakers that morning. The fac...

Re: Any fleas found north?
Thanks for the reports guys. I was thinking of going after lakers north of Valcour, but might just switch it up to smallies around Georgia shore if the fleas are as plentiful as all are indicating.

Re: HOT on the broad lake
Sounds like some great fishing Mudchuck... thanks for sharing... are the aerators in Carmi key spot now???
[/quote]
Since the aerators are in the deeper areas, you'll see lots of marks on your finder near those aerators, mostly perch but some suspended eyes in the mix.

Re: HOT on the broad lake
Nice! I went out Saturday at Cowbanks, 5:30 AM until 10AM fished the trench west side of Cedar and went 5/5 on shaker salmon, all hit silver/pink spoon on 5-6 colors of lead core, no fleas and minor grass. Not a single fish off the downrigger, 72F surface, 2.45-2.70MPH Got off the water before the ...

Re: Inland Sea 7/2
I too fished Cowbanks Saturday, 5 for 5 on 12" shaker salmon west side of Cedar in the trench, all on the lead core 5-6 colors with a silver/pink spoon, nothing on rigger and switched that side up plenty. Surface temp 72F and running 2.33-2.45MPH surface. All came around 9:30AM At least they're...

Re: July 4th converse
Converse is a nice launch, but, we never use it unless the one we usually go to is frozen. Too crowded, and usually not with people who are on the water for fish and game access. a.k.a. kayakers minus fishing poles, SUP people, don't get that one at all myself, people assembling sailboats on the ra...
