Maybe DEC will plant makeup browns next year, now that LLS from Adirondack Hatchery have been decimated.

Town Farm for starters, then. Planer boards and stickbait or shallow downriggers and spoons? Thanks

Westport, up or down (or VT.)??

Thinking about two days around North West Bay, tomorrow and Friday. Is it still too cold for Split Rock and Whalons? Should we try for shallower water, and what to soak and depth. Any help really appreciated. Thanks!

Re: IS still full of dead alewives

Ditto beaucoup dead alewives North West Bay off of Westport from the launch to The Narrows NY side. A seagull/osprey/bald eagle feast unfolding before us. Scads of fresh dead and fungus & rotted bait everywhere. That white on the shoreline isn't snow!! It's birds and bird doo. Skunkhorns for us ...

Bottom$: You gotta give us the rest of the story. We have all contributed something to the lake bottom. My 8# green weight now lives of of the Palisades for a year now!
