Westport, up or down (or VT.)??
Thinking about two days around North West Bay, tomorrow and Friday. Is it still too cold for Split Rock and Whalons? Should we try for shallower water, and what to soak and depth. Any help really appreciated. Thanks!

Ditto beaucoup dead alewives North West Bay off of Westport from the launch to The Narrows NY side. A seagull/osprey/bald eagle feast unfolding before us. Scads of fresh dead and fungus & rotted bait everywhere. That white on the shoreline isn't snow!! It's birds and bird doo. Skunkhorns for us ...
