The best thing about this report, other than the huge, beautiful fish, is the excitement it generates with everyone who sees it. If you spend enough time on this lake, anyone has a chance to catch a once in a lifetime salmon. It's a testament to all the effort that has been put into the restoration...

I expect to get one like this Friday!

Seemed like it was a long troll on Friday. I checked the navionics record... 41 miles and 10.5 hrs... for those who are looking for spring salmon trolling lines... here is my track;)

We are planning to hold the drawing for the DYP team pairs this coming Friday. The deadline for signing up for this free derby with or without boat or as a 2 person family team is this Friday May 4th at 4pm. At that point we will do the draw and announce the pairings to allow for possible pre fishin...
