We’re heading up to LC for a couple weeks has anything improved in IS on the silver front? Also last year spring early summer we were catching lakers just south of Isle La Motte but this year no luck is anyone getting them up in that area?

Went through the gut to IS on the 4th with my Nephew and found 55deg at 80’ we tried in 90 to 130fow no hits found bait and some fish marking various depths but no sign of active fish around the bait, we were marking fish and bait depth heading south and trolled back through at the depth we saw them...

Unfortunately I will not be up for the frostbite shootout but it sounds like a good time! I’ll be out tomorrow morning in the IS - (it’s going to be chilly) have the salmon been active? I picked up a fishhawk TD to target water temps.

Im planning on going to IS tomorrow targeting 6:30am and plan on following shoreline south 70-120’ fow with dr at 50’ -70’ go down around cedar into keelers bay. I was using 30 lbs mono. on dr and 40lbs mono in dipsy diver along with 25lbs lead core had no problems with fleas, some areas had to contend with the weeds. I’ll be leaving chazy heading to IS through the gut targeting 6-6:30 am till 3ish will troll south to keelers and cedar island area I’m in 24’ Avalon tritoon Black and Tan with 16’ flag on the stern.
