I wasn't aware the new probe would work with the current system ?? I purchased my last year. Might be worth it to get it and keep the original probe as a back up. Can you confirm it will work with my system Ron? Does it work with an X4 or does it need to be an X4D? Isn't the X4D the one you can move...

Wait.........I am kinda techo ignorant. Does that puck require cell service.....? So like Shawn if I don't have a tablet, I should get one with cell, correct ?

Thanks for all the help..........decided to make the jump. Went with a LiTime 36v battery with their charger. $ 500 was less than 50 % of the Ionic price and LiTime seemed to have good reviews.........

I thought I made this post yesterday but dont see it. Has anyone made the jump to Lithium batteries ? I am thinking of doing so so I can use 36V on my trolling motor. Try to use this when I can to save fuel and hours on my engine as I don't use a kicker. Ionic seems to be a premium trusted brand. So...

A good friend of mine stored his at Point Bay as he had a drive to Plymouth, Vt. He ran into problems on weekends when he would pull his boat out, someone would park in his space and he had no spot to park his boat. It was so bad he pulled his boat home mid summer.
