Re: Active Lakers and Expensive Mistakes
My buddy was diving it this morning and found a sensor and downrigger ball. PM me Keith and we can text about it. I have a photo as well.

Re: shore fishing for walleyes and pan fish
Been trying a few times over the last few weeks for walleye in the Winooski. Similarly setting up a rod with a sliding sinker rig and then casting one with vary paddletails and divers. The only one I had casting followed to shore and hit maybe three feet out. I saw it hit - very cool! But then I had...

Re: Lake Champlain Anglers' Temperature Database
This is awesome! I don't have a fishhawk or electronics to determine it, but this would be very valuable information. Very cool

Awesome! That is a nice laker and MA whitefish. You should enter that badboy, it'd only be the 4th entered.

Re: August 2nd Shelburne Bay
Nice Laker congrats on your MA I'm new to jigging Any Tips ???? Hit bottom, reel up a bit, and jig. Do that a bit, reel up more, jig more. Keep going until maybe half way to the surface and start again on bottom. It depends on time of year and water temperature. For lakers specifically, I've found ...

August 2nd Shelburne Bay
Went out with my buddy last night and tried jigging in a few spots we've had success before. Couple bites but no takers, so moved on and did some swimming over by Burlington. We were going to jig off of Red Rocks but tried another part in the main bay and had a nice hit on the first drop of my jig (...

Re: Thermocline
How do all of you find the thermocline - electronics? It seems like you all find it reliably and accurately. Is it just based on where the bait fish are?

Re: Inland Sea 1 Riddler 0
Can anyone recommend a good launching point for a canoe near some waters with potential? I've been to Shelburne Bay a lot jigging for lakers and salmon and am looking to change it up. Not looking for anyone's spot, just a general area to start since it takes a bit longer to explore in the canoe. Tha...

Re: Shelburne Bay 5/28 and 6/1
Good to hear they are still hitting, we were doing pretty well on them last week in the outer part of the bay. I am still hoping that they come into the bay like they did last year. We tried the outer bay last week but didn't find them in the usual spots. The one in the photo above was in about 13 ...

Shelburne Bay 5/28 and 6/1
Took out the 'new' solo canoe for some fishing Sunday for my birthday, while my wife kayaked nearby. Trolled around a bit with no bites, then started jigging shads in a spot where I lost a nice laker the previous time. After about 25 minutes, had a nice big hit. Caught by surprise, I was trying to l...
