Re: March madness on the salmon grounds
Not sure, but most are from the same year-class. Asking myself why, with all these salmon being caught, the salmon catch for me last year was Zero. Just one big rainbow and always a bunch of lakers keeping it interesting. Pretty good count of returning fish at the Ed Weed hatchery and other collecti...

@raz - Your note on the obituary "wall" is really spot on. I attended Notre Dame High School in suburban Chicago and many of my classmates went on to Notre Dame and were in attendance about the same time as Jim. Our high school's nickname for our athletic team, and our band, was "the ...

When you bought spoons from Tamiron, you frequently had the impression that you were dealing with a person and not a company. And that person was also patient and always kind. In addition, I remember that his posts on this forum frequently urged us to be the same: respect others in our online commun...

I think the catch rate of Atlantic salmon has a lot more to do with the answer to that question. But I feel your pain about gas prices.

Re: Tablet for Navionics
If you are fishing without a bimini or other form of top, are these tablets bright enough to read (in the sun)?
