Inland Sea Kayak Fishing

Fished for one hour in the afternoon along the Milton side and caught my first salmon of the season - tight to shore, about 6 feet of water. At least 6 other boats fishing the same area, but I did not see many catching fish.

Re: Kayak fishing the Inland Sea

I use a Hobie Kayak - Revolution 13. I have mostly fished it in the ocean for stripers and fluke and Lake Champlain for lakers and salmon. Good luck in the Northeast Kingdom - let me know how you do. I have fished Willoughby a couple of times, but with little luck.

Re: Kayak fishing the Inland Sea

It is a lot of fun. I've been fishing out of it for 6 years and can't get enough.

Kayak fishing the Inland Sea

Fished close to shore with spoons this afternoon from my kayak. Once the rain started and the lake settled down the fish started to hit. Lots of short strikes, but seems to be a lot of salmon in the sea.
