Skunk-o-la

Sunday morning tried essex down to split rock, across to thompsons - nothin. Not much bait, fewer hooks. Picked up and headed south - fished NY side then picked up and worked the VT side - nothin. Only decent bait and hooks were just south of basin harbour. Bit of a problem dragging white and yellow...

5/27 Converse

Started working across the mouth of converse down past thompsons. Tried south by the mansion, ended up back at converse. Picked up a decent brown on a mini dispy on a 1 setting 50 back with a cop car crazy ivan and a small salmon on a rigger 30 down. Picked up three lakers over the next few hours. M...

Mansion Sun Morning

Hit the water about 8:30 with my crew consisting of my daughter (6), her friend (6), and her friends sister (4) and Dad (no age given). Motored passed the crowd at Thompsons and set up near the mansion. Only had two lines in when we got our first hit and miss. Few minutes later had a double of a 6.5...

Thompsons / Mansion

Fished 7:30 - 10:30 around the mansion. Caught 3 lakers (one about 10lbs had 3 lamprey hits) - no salmon. Would like to call it slow - but if I did I'd realize how spoiled I'm getting . Nice morning on the lake.

St. Albans Bay 5/7

Took advantage of the nice weather and fished St. Albans bay after work. Found the bass in about 4 feet of water - didn't see much deeper but they were packed into the shallows. The water was so low, clear and calm that it was tough getting bites until the sun started heading towards the horizon and...

Shelburne Bay

Had the very original idea to try Shelburne Bay Saturday. Fished from 10-2 and landed 15 or so lakers (2-5lbs) and 2 18" salmon. Never made it much further North than the line between the tanks and the point. Lots of bait and fish right up on top. Ran riggers at 35 and 25 with stackers and slid...
