Sunday morning tried essex down to split rock, across to thompsons - nothin. Not much bait, fewer hooks. Picked up and headed south - fished NY side then picked up and worked the VT side - nothin. Started working across the mouth of converse down past thompsons. Tried south by the mansion, ended up back at converse. Hit the water about 8:30 with my crew consisting of my daughter (6), her friend (6), and her friends sister (4) and Dad (no age given). Motored passed the crowd at Thompsons and set up near the mansion. Only had two lines in when we got our first hit and miss. Few minutes later had a double of a 6.5...

Fished 7:30 - 10:30 around the mansion. Caught 3 lakers (one about 10lbs had 3 lamprey hits) - no salmon. Would like to call it slow - but if I did I'd realize how spoiled I'm getting . Nice morning on the lake.

Took advantage of the nice weather and fished St. Albans bay after work. Found the bass in about 4 feet of water - didn't see much deeper but they were packed into the shallows.
