Re: Personal best Lake Champlain Brown

Get a 11" roll of vacuum sealer bag, cut to length, vacuum seal the fish, wrap it in a wet damp towel, and freeze it flat on a cookie sheet. Vacuum sealing it keeps the air out, and the damp towel is good protection in the freezer.

Re: Rotary Team Results...

In this derby for the team category you have to weigh in two different species. Meaning (walleye and salmon), (walleye and laker), or (laker and salmon). Some teams do not realize it and assume it’s like the LCI where you can weigh in two of the same species. Makes it a fun dynamic where you have to...

Re: Not mine, but what is a "steelhead"?

Re: Sandbar bridge clearance?

I wouldn't chance a big boat like that through there. Your better off going to Mallets bay launch. Went through last week and there was a good pod of gulls and geese on the Mallets bay side in some skinny water

Re: Are these both salmon or is one a brown?

Both are salmon. That's the beauty of Landlocks in spot patterns. Some are loaded, and some have very few. All depends on their parents.

Re: Fun Salmon Facts

I was trying to figure out how big this fish was when it was stocked into lake. Stocked most likely in late spring/early summer 2019 one and 1/2 years later it was already 4.3 lbs... is that possible? Crazy Ivan At the latest it would have been stocked last week of April, but most likely late march...
