Re: Westport 5/26

Sounded like a fun day, Joe! I started in Converse and kept on trolling south trying to find salmon. Could have almost seen you guys further south as I wasn't far from Westport. Cut over to Snake Den and trolled up the NY side, back over to Town Farm and back to the launch. Landed 9 lakers and never...

Nice job, Speedy! There are salmon in Willoughby, too. Not sure what other lakes up there have them.

Re: 2024 DYP derby results. (13th annual)

Very well said, Jack!! I couldn't agree more. I met my partner for this year, AveJoe, at last year's DYP. I have fished with him a few times now and have become friends. It's so refreshing to meet like-minded people at an event like this. I really enjoyed talking with everyone this year at the BBQ (...

Re: 5/4 Fishfest

Great report, Joe and Esad! Sounds like a blast.

Apparently the Winooski was the place to be for walleye. I fished the Lamoille and there were only 6 rigs in the lot at 6am! Lots of bass and white perch. Only heard of 2 walleye being caught as I asked about every boat that went by.

Re: 2024 DYP teams......

I’ve already got the big one tied up, Joe. We’ll just have to cruise around for a while to make it look like we’re fishing. 😁

Can’t wait!

Re: Saturday in the northern fleet

Matt (Dry Net). Depending on what you have for a unit, the Navionics chip will most likely have far better, more detailed maps than what you have on the FF. I've been living without it for a long time, and am just now making the move to the 21st century. I'm not sure it's needed, but will be nice to...

Re: Saturday in the northern fleet

That's what I was seeing, Matt (Reelax), when researching. I needed IOS 13 or Android 7 to run the app. It was cheaper to get an Android unit with 7+ than an Apple with 13+. Is there a way to "screen share" between the phone and tablet? You could just run Nav on the phone and see it on the...

Re: Saturday in the northern fleet

Wait.........I am kinda techo ignorant. Does that puck require cell service.....? So like Shawn if I don't have a tablet, I should get one with cell, correct ? That is my understanding, John. If you have any tablet already then the puck will work to add GPS. If buying new, you’ll need to be sure wh...
