No doubt the Slide Divers are an awesome addition to any arsenal! I run them on Champlain with a braid mainline & a 50 ft leader of 20 pound mono. This gives me the flexibility to rig the set back as far as needed. Each day i experiment, let the fish tell you weather they are spooky or not? For ...

Absolutely Ron! No doubt we can all pick up on stuff! I went to to a couple while out the Buffalo Show this winter, that were put on by Captains that run Erie & Ontario.......very informative!

Bill the third has written at great lengths about these in Lake Ontario Outdoors! I hadnt seen them as yet...but have had interest in trying them! How did you get them & what pound weight were you using if you dont mind sharing.......no doubt i have interest in giving them a shot for next year!

Cool Scott! Did you see Jeff235 in his 24 ft Whaler out there? He was fishing Wednesday-Saturday. Pill boxes / trench / whaleys: Good memories from the 80's. Very protected water for the most part. I know the feeling Icedawg! We boated close to 40 kings along with a hand full of Coho's & browns over a two week period. But I had close to triple the amount of hits! Many ...many hit & runs on the dipsies! One fish took out over 800 ft when the wire had a kink in it & stopped dead!.......
