Fluorocarbon, it was my fault it broke off, landed a 6.5lb on the same rod a couple of days earlier, should have swapped out the leader.

Launched out of Converse around 6:30 solo trip, motored into Town Farm bay, set up one rigger at 10ft down 80 back and a lead core on the inline planer board, was marking fish in Town Farm but no takers this time. Holy S#@*!!! That is a beautiful Salmon. Curious, were you in the Converse area? I see N. Ferrisburgh as your hometown. Not looking for exact location, but it is interesting to me that the majority of the Salmon reports have come from that area. I suppose I am keeping a "Tally" of sorts. ...

I fished out of converse this past Sunday, water temps were really low still, warmest i could find was 37 around Town Farm Bay, no marks no fish, Whallons bay, 35 or so, no marks no fish, down by the mansion was a little warmer but same results, no marks no fish, I'll probably be out again on Sunday...

Used to snowmobile up there years ago with the guys from the Barre Hunting Club. Great place for that. Thanks for the report.
